You can express your support by donating to specific projects of the Ernesto Illy Foundation. Donations will be dedicated to three current projects:

• Research, preservation and development project of the native coffee plant in Ethiopia;
• Pilot project in Colombia, dedicated to adverse communities, to introduce beekeeping and honey production in coffee plantations, as a new source of income and environmental sustainability;
• Scholarships for the Masters degree in Coffee Economics and Science, that will give qualified students coming from coffee producing countries the opportunity to study in Italy, to improve their knowledge and to transfer this experience to their families and community of origin.

By indicating the project of your choice, your contribution will help protect the communities and environment in the emerging and developing countries where coffee is produced.

The Foundation’s web site will provide updates and information on the development of these projects, which will evolve with the help of your contributions.

There are two different ways to make a donation; through PayPal or with a bank transfer.

The Foundation can receive donations of a minimum of 100 euro.

In appreciation of your support, benefactors will receive a limited-edition set of Ernesto Illy espresso cups; a unique piece of art with one single "double" saucer, characterized by an original and innovative design. The two espresso cups embody the idea and the thought of Ernesto Illy, that the ideal coffee stimulates interaction and conversation, love and great ideas, and must be savored with someone.
