The Ernesto Illy Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by illycaffè S.p.A, was established by the Illy family on October 30, 2008 and officially recognized by the Italian government on August 3, 2009.

The Foundation is led by Anna Rossi Illy, the honorary president of illycaffè and wife of the late Dr. Ernesto Illy. The vice-presidency has been entrusted to his daughter Anna who, for many years, was Dr. Illy’s closest collaborator and accompanied him on his lifelong journey in search of quality coffee.

Dr. Illy’s three sons, Francesco, Riccardo and Andrea are members of the Board of Directors. Roberto Morelli, illycaffè’s director of Coffee Culture and illycaffè’s Università del Caffè, serves as the director of the Foundation.

The University of São Paolo (Brazil), through the Fundação Instituto de Administração – PENSA and SISSA (International School for Advanced Studies of Trieste) are supporting partners of the Foundation.
